Between Girona and Perpignan there is an excellent and frequent bus service from Girona to Perpignan called "frogbus" which can be booked on line. Girona airport is about an hour away from Perpignan.

You can arrive direct by Fast TGV train to Girona with just one change from the eurostar from London St. Pancras to Lille and then direct TGV from Lille to Barcelona. A very pleasant way to arrive.
