COURSE STYLE

Our primary goal is to provide you with a gorgeous holiday setting that will blow your socks off in its stunning visual quality.
Our second is to ensure that you enjoy yourself having a great holiday
Third is to look for ways to inspire you and that you leave with much more than you arrived with in terms of ideas and confidence.

We have in all three areas a whole stack of visually inspiring locations to take you to. But we do not publish a schedule that today at precisely 10am you will board the bus and you will go to xxx location. We prefer to hold the bank of options to suit what you would like to do, when you would like to do it and what the weather is doing.

If we have discovered a project to develop and you would enjoy a day or so at your holiday base exploring ideas then we will provide the ideal encouragement and environment for you to do just that.

We create plenty of time to stop for lunch and in good time for you to swim or sunbath or enjoy a glass of wine in the garden before dinner. As we said before, it’s a holiday.

We have found over the past 6 years with these courses that a very high proportion of artists want to be released from the trap of technique. So many folk have stopped enjoying painting because of too high a focus on how exactly things should be done. We spend more time helping artists to loosen up and get creative ideas going.

If your course leader is Terry White, then there will be focused sessions on exploring ideas with Charcoal, Pastels. Terry will also introduce sessions combining digital photography and then exploring with digital software, various treatments. This computer multi-media approach has been of great interest to many. If your course leader is Dawn Taylor then there will be focused sessions on Watercolour and Oils.

All in all we create an atmosphere of enjoyment, fun and experiment and from this comes flowing very freely – confidence.
